This is an important notice. As of August the 5th 2009, this blog will no longer be active/used. Hope everyone can understand this as we all no longer belong to squad C2... We always reshuffle our squad listing after E&A.

Besides that, we would like to congratulate the people who got promoted this 52nd E&A. We hope that they would be able to lead the boys in the right direction. Also, let's aim to be the overall champion in Pesta 2010 Penang!

Lastly, We would like to thank each and everyone of you who viewed this blog at least once. Thank you for your support and if there is any new events coming up, do not hesitate to contact us at http://www.3rdklbb.org

    Goodbye.

Hey Blog Readers of the 3rd KL C2 Blog, I'm Back! My admin and I have been on AWOL for a very long while, therefore we haven't had the time to update this. So now I take the opportunity to update! btw, I'm Pte Stanley Chia here.

Let's see, our old Drill Officer (Sir Sanjay) has left to go to Singapore. So our NEW Drill Officer is none other than Sir Sim Guan Jiann! He just came back for Drill yesterday after going to East Malaysia for a few months. So it's time to brush up on your drill guys, or else your drill badge will be suspended for 3 months! O.O

Besides that, yesterday was the first day for the recruits to come to YMCA 3rd KL. I'm sure they had a fun time. There were a total of at least 45 present there, but it is believed that more will come. The Recruits sang songs with us, led by none other than Cpl Hoe Kit and Primer Chye Kok Keong. Then when we had Christan Education Class and Award Class, they played games led by Sir Soo and the 3 Sergeants.

For Drill Time, they had their first experience of drill. Out of a corner of my eye, I could see that the recruits started on punishments already too. I saw them going down for push-ups several times. I hope Sir Soo wasn't too hard on them.

Then after Drill and Closing Parade, they went home! I hope they will remember to come back! =)

FYI, this blog's admin is no longer LCPL Ng Charn Chuen. He and I have swap roles because he is too busy as Chairman of BB Club in SMKTD 2009 while I am just a Vice-Secretary of BB Club in SMKTD. So, if you have any questions, please refer to me. Thank you for reading! God Bless. Stan

After a long leave since the Enrolment & Awards Day, finally all the Form 3 boys had faced their PMR Examination. Well done!!!!!!!! Most of them had came back to serve the 3rd KL company.

The parade started at 2.30p.m.. Lance Corporal Lim used his great voice to call for fall in. We fall in in the hall because it was raining cats and dogs outside. Later after falling out, the singspiration started..... It was led by our squad A1..... It was indeed a very good job!

We sang the ‘WELCOME’ song to all the PMR boys that came back to serve the company. After that, it was the game time.............. It was a very funny game. Well, what shall we name the game? Okay la, let us create a name for that game, we call that......... ‘Flying Ducks’ game la hahahahaha............ Everyone enjoyed the game very much!!! Thanks to our squad A1.

After the juniors left the hall, the whole senior section boys ‘drop’ for 20 while for NCOs were 30. The reason was because the hall was not kept in the condition before that. There were a few rubbish on the floor. We learnt the lesson. Thank you, SIR!!!!!

Then, the programmes after that were as usual.

On the 4th of October every year, we celebrate a common birthday- BB DAY! This is the day that the 1st ever Boys' Brigade company was founded in Glasgow, Scotland.

On Saturday it was Squad C2's turn to lead the Singspiration. Which is Our squad! However, our squad is not a very active squad at the moment, because many of our members have taken study leave for PMR and SPM. This includes our squad leader- LCPL Ho Yew Hon and one of our assistant squad leaders- LCPL Ng Charn Chuen. So with these challenges, we had to think of something to do... and Fast. In the end, we let our LCPL Wong Hoe Shing contact everybody and we just hoped for the best.
Ta-Da! It's Finally Saturday... Just Minutes before Opening Parade, we only had 4 members present: LCPL Wong Hoe Shing, PTE Wen Xiang, PTE Justin Tan and I. We were all busy preparing for the singspiration that we nearly forgot about opening parade attendance. So, I offered to do the attendance and went down to fall-in. Wah, at the basketball court there it was really burning hot. Parade Commander LCPL Mok Wai Hoe took the attendance from me. At the same time, Hoe Shing and the others were busy preparing the music. Due to technical problems, they could not use the LCD for the singspiration.
Members of Squad C2 and volunteers helping with the music settings and all.
After Sir Darryn Chiew keluar baris us, we went to the hall. The Singspiration was ready to start and Captain Tan was the guitarist. I gave a brief introduction- Captain Tan as the Guitarist, Hoe Shing as the Singer and I as the commentator/back-up singer. Then we started the Singspiration. It was fun man, everybody was quite 'high' at some of the songs. In several songs, we invited other 3rd KL members to come out and sing with us, including SGT JieHan. We sang a total of 7 Songs, including a happy birthday song to BB.
I Hoped you have enjoyed the singspiration from our squad, despite it was the first time that Hoe Shing and I led the singspiration. Thanks!
Members of Squad C2 who helped in the singspiration.

    C2 members please……
THINK over again why we join BB???
BB emphasize on discipline and do you actually show a good discipline manner???
If not change it now!!!! It can really help you in your life.
ALWAYS think of the relationship between BB and your life. BB is not just join for nothing….. RELATE BB’s principle into your life and you will find out your own mistake.
What is it mean by relate BB in your life???
    AS AN EXAMPLE:
    · Do you stand straight when you sing the Anchor Song?
If yes, you should also do that when you sing the national anthem
    · Do you talk while in ‘sedia’ position when drill?
If yes, you should not talk also during ‘perhimpunan’ in school.
Then, you won’t just be an example in BB but to all the people around us!!!!!!!!!!
